 Your First Visit OUR PROMISE Thank you for your interest in our practice! We know you have many options for choosing a new dentist, and we are thankful you are looking into our practice. Our focus here at New Life Dental Arts is individual customer service and patient satisfaction. We are committed to informing you about your care, while being attentive and considerate to your needs and desires. Exceeding your expectations and giving you the best dental care available is our number one priority! WHAT TO EXPECT We are confident you will find your first visit both pleasant and enjoyable. Before beginning your initial exam, Dr. Amy will spend time with you to discuss any problems or concerns you have about your teeth or your oral health. Following your discussion, we will take any necessary x-rays using our state-of-the-art digital x-ray systems, which deliver 70-80% less radiation than traditional x-rays. Dr. Amy will then complete a thorough exam of your teeth, gums, and mouth, including an oral cancer and periodontal disease screening. She will discuss with you any issues she finds and propose the options for your treatment, as well as answer any questions you may have. She may also take photos of your teeth to help explain any problem spots that she finds. Many times, if your teeth and gums are healthy, we will clean your teeth at your initial appointment if there is time.
